A physical therapy session in my clinic is individually tailored to each patient, with a holistic and patient centered approach to healing. Physical Therapy is a hands-on and natural treatment which helps maintain and restore optimum movement and functional ability for your body. It is a primary care health profession and is established on health science principles. Conditions treated include back pain, neck and shoulder pain, whiplash, repetitive stress conditions, spinal conditions, muscle sprains and strains, ankle sprains, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, sciatica, tennis elbow and golfers elbow.
Each 1 hour treatment is well balanced and consists of a full patient history take, treatment, and re-education and homecare exercises. Treatment modalities include deep tissue and Swedish massage, muscle energy techniques, postural correction, joint mobilisations, Mulligan techniques and fascia release. Clients are provided with individual homecare exercise programmes to ensure return to full fitness is achieved and to prevent reoccurrence of injury.
