Our Members
Members of the Irish Association of Physical Therapists (IAPT) are graduates from the Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science (IPTAS), or hold equivalent qualifications which are recognised by the IAPT.
Physical Therapist graduates from IPTAS hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Health Science. This degree is awarded by HETAC, the statutory authority for awarding third level qualifications in Ireland and is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
All members of the IAPT meet and adhere to the strict criteria and standards set down by the association. The IAPT places great emphasis on its duty to regulate the professional and ethical standards of its members. Our members are committed to undergoing continual professional development (CPD) in order to provide the highest standard of care to clients.
